The Nittany Lions were back in a big way in 2008. A rejuvenated Joe Pa was coaching from the booth and the team arguably came within a few plays of another national title. And 2009 promises to build on that foundation. With plenty of returning stars and one more year of development for Daryll Clark, State is once again poised to make a run at a Big Ten title.

We Are Penn State 2009, edited by Mike Hubbell of BlackShoeDiaries.com, is 128 pages of the most in-depth and entertaining Nittany Lions analysis available anywhere. From this year's team and its prospects, to recruits and strategy, and even looks back at Penn State's long and storied history, We Are Penn State covers the team from every angle.

  • A full color look at the Nittany Lions' 2009 roster as well as a breakdown of the 2009 schedule.
  • A look at how the Big Ten Conference has fallen off and what it needs to do to get back to the top of college football.
  • Insight into how the program received its "Linebacker U" nickname and how some current players plan on upholding the tradition.
  • A historical look at the Nittany Lions including its former rivalry with Syracuse as well as a former player's reflection on the undefeated 1994 season.

Greatest magazine of all time? Perhaps, but Iメm only on page 100 and there are still literally dozens more to read!

This publication is going to be great. GREAT, I tell ya. No, of course I haven't read it; it's not even released yet. Doesn't matter. It's about Penn State Football, just like it says on the cover. If THAT doesn't appeal to you and make you want to buy a dozen copies, then your gene pool is shallow, stagnant and rife with skeeters. You probably don't even like bacon, cold beer or hot women. Buy some copies, and complete your life. Until this mag is resting comfortably on your coffee table, you can expect epic FAIL on your lottery numbers, sex life and employment efforts. For starters. Buy some, and be quick about it. I'm Pete the Streak, and I approved this message.
